THE FOUNDER
BLOC FILMS was founded by National Geographic Explorer, Nate Ford. In his filmmaking adventures across 40+ countries, Nate has hand-fed wild hyenas in Ethiopia, trekked across melting glaciers in Iceland, and explored the toxic ruins of Chernobyl in Ukraine. He swam with frenzied sharks in Indonesia, lived with the Amish in Honduras, and even reported from the White House. He previously worked at the National Park Service and at HBO Documentaries in New York.
Nate shoots and directs documentary films that tell stories of growth.
